Greetings!
OK, this is the last you'll hear from me on this subject... but since it looks like our station's streaming Internet broadcast is working OK, Radio 1/2 will be airing a full three hours of Mr. Children this Sunday, February 27th, 2005 from 6:00 - 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time in the USA. Sadly this schedule isn't particularly good for those actually in the USA, since on the West Coast that means the show would air between 3:00 and 6:00 AM...
However, the times get more workable for those of you in Europe and Asia who might want to check out the show... here are a couple of reference times as guides (all times on that Sunday):
United Kingdom = 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Western Europe = Noon - 3:00 PM
Moscow = 2:00 - 5:00 PM
Singapore = 7:00 - 10:00 PM
Tokyo = 8:00 - 11:00 PM
We operate using the ShoutCast system from WinAmp. You can find the link either on the WSPN website itself (www.skidmore.edu/wspn) or by going to www.shoutcast.com and searching for "wspn". The bitrate isn't that good, so don't expect any digital sound quality or anything...
In the last hour, we'll air the top ten Mr. Children tracks as voted by my local listeners as well as some Internet feedback... if you're a fan and want to participate, find my other two threads with "Best of the Best" in the titles which contain polls for you to use.
