ACK!!! 25 euros for shipping, those people are crazy. they need to find another company or something. though im sure thats the 1 kilo rate, a t-shirt doesnt weigh 1 kilo, ever.

Well, the official German postal service (they call themselves DHL now) is fricken expensive when it comes to national deliveries... once I had to send a little packet to Austria which is nearby, packet was also well within that 1kg border, and they charged me 16竄ｬ for it!!! :auch: Can you believe it!?
Guess it would be better make a collective order. As you said, one t-shirt certainly doesn't weigh 1kg, so you could order several together and share the shipping costs.

may I add some information about shipping costs out of germany?

As Lina told you, shipping to a country other than Germany is expensive. This applies to all shippings where insurance and air-mail is needed. But small items like a t-shirt can be shipped as letter in most cases.

A normal t-shirt weighs around 200 gr - ready to ship the whole thing would come out to 500 - 700 gr. This could be send as "Brief" or "MaxiBrief" (letter or maxiletter), costs are around 6,- to 10,- Euro.

I don't know how the transport to japan is organized without using a plane. Maybe the t-shirt first takes a long ride on the TransSib to Wladiwostok. .... ;-)
