The main requirement is that you be a steady and constant presence here for a few months or years and that there's a need for more mods. There's not a lot of traffic here these days so it's not like Discord where you have to be constantly watching the comments. Mostly it's the occasional spammer that joins that needs to be banned. Occasionally we'll get users that like to be controversial and argumentative. Typically they won't follow the rules and will get banned eventually because they won't play nice.

I spent 2 summers in high school getting extra training for spelling & grammar since I failed them in regular class. I think it's something defective in my DNA. Normally my wife is here to correct my spelling , but she's in Canada on vacation from me. I have a dictionary right next to me , but it's kind of like that thing where real men don't read directions I can't bring myself to use it. Thankfully my wife returns tonight ; a week of junk food and soda , since cooking is beyond my skill set , I may get a real home cooked meal.

Well , the fact I flunked out of kindergarten and my IQ is only around 11 , Thomas took pity on me. I've never met him in person , but when I die and am cremated , I'm having my ashes sent to him to dump in Mount Fuji because he is my God. Hopefully , not in the very near future though.
