Hello everyone,
I am excited to be leaving for Osaka tomorrow morning and have a question about the MIYAKO ODORI show in Kyoto . I will be taking day trips to Kyoto on April 8 and 10 and am wondering the process of getting last minute tickets to the show. Will this require an early morning trip to the show area before site seeing is possible? I know a lot of people reserve in advance but I also saw a post by a gentleman that got tickets the day of, but did not give details of exactly what he did.
Also, what major temples/attractions are closest to the show house that I can easily see before and after the show? I was hoping to do Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion), Fushimi-Inari , and Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavlilion) this day. Would this be too much? Should we have one temple saved for the second day? We plan on doing Arashiyama for a half day, including the bamboo forest and monkey park and Gion on the second day.
Any help would be amazing.
