That must be only in Japan. In the USA hardly any girls wear anything but trousers in school, even the old time Catholic schools that used to require uniforms have relented and girls wear trousers. Also, many many senior CEO's and Managers of huge corporations in America are women. And those women wear whatever they please and that's usually trousers. Condaliza Rice, the United States Secretary of State wears pants suits nearly all the time. Only wears a dress for formal occasions. Skirts and/or dresses on women in the United States are for the most part only seen on TV commercials. Not in real life.

Most women in America going to a job interview wouldn't even think of wearing anything but trousers because they actually don't OWN anything else. My girlfriend who lives with me just recently started sewing and wearing skirts because I do. The first 6 years she lived with me she never wore anything but black trousers and tennis shoes. Japan may still be somewhat "into itself" even though Japan is a world leader as well. Old habits die hard I guess.

That really surprises me, that most American women don't wear skirts much. I have always been a skirt or a dress girl. When I was little I was so skinny that I had to wear dresses. Skirts or pants would have fallen down on me.

After I move to France it's much colder than Australia so I changed my winter clothes, all are pullovers and blazers or cardigans with trousers and most of my trousers are black because it's dirty when it snows in the winter with all those salt on the ground. Anyway I look very good in black due to my pale skin. I also wear coats or a Jackets over my blazers or pullovers or cardigans, they are usually black too due to the weather.

Back and Busted!

I lost. Played in the Seniors No Limit Holdem Event, didn't win or even cash. Wore the same clothes I wear everywhere else. T-shirt, straight skirt and loafers. Had only one comment from an 80+ year old lady. She asked, "What's worn under your skirt, Sir?" To which I replied nicely, "Nothing is worn, Ma'am, it's all in perfect working condition"....She said OOOOKKKKK...and wandered away looking confused and non-plussed.

Had about 5 beautiful young ladies tell me that either their husbands or boyfriends wore skirts/kilts or sarongs a lot of the time in the heat there and they also thought wearing a skirt was just fine for a man as it was much more comfortable they thought, for his "package" than trousers would be.

Still here

Except for a terrible experience during and after my Vegas trip, when my ex-girlfriend transferred $6,603.00 from my paypal account to her paypal account after figuring out my old password. She's gone to the Graybar hotel until she pays it back and then maybe she'll still stay there a while.

It's really a tough pill to take when you've lived with someone for nearly 7 years and then they rob you while you're on a vacation they suggested and prompted you to go on. I'm depressed and sick at the stomach nearly all the time. :angryfire :frown: :smash: :banghead:

I'm very sorry to hear about your losses, Comfortable Man. I hope that at least you get your money back, either on the tables or from your ex. If things don't pan out, you can always take her to small claims court. Best of luck!
