Hello,
Please help me with meaning of ずんと in the sentence below:
ずんと おのが かるく なって きもちいいほど しごとは はかどった。
Maybe I could translate it as:
"The axe became much lighter and the work advanced up to the extent made (him) feel good."
I had translate ずんと as "much".
If so, is it possible to change word order like below:
おのが ずんと かるく なって きもちいいほど しごとは はかど った。
I am not sure if my translation is right one. Please kindly correct me, if am I wrong.
Thank you very much!

Yes, your translation is good.
ずんと is similar to ずっと、ぐっと、ぐんと and meaning much (more) so in this context "much lighter" is correct.
And you can change the word order as you did. 👍

Thank you very much for your kind help. :sorry:

EDIT:
Sorry for that "question" sign in upper left corner of the message. It is my type mistake, unfortunately I could not remove it using "edit" function.

Thank you very much again!

No problem! Don't worry about the" post icon". :)
(But if you really want to remove it, click "Go Advanced" in the EDIT page.
Then "Post Icons" appears below the message and you can choose "No icon".)
