Hello again. I've got a few sentences here that wanted me to answer using ' to omoimasu '

1) ashita wa donna tenki desu ka?

2) raishuu wa isogashii desu ka?

3) Anata no nihongo no sensei wa, konshuu no shuumatsu, nani wo shimasu ka?

My answers:

1) ashita wa kumori aru to omoimasu

2) hai. Isogashii to omoimasu

3) eigo wo mite to omoimasu

Thank you!

( found it a bit more difficult when answering questions with the ' to omoimasu ' method for some reason )

1) ashita wa donna tenki desu ka?
1) ashita wa kumori aru to omoimasu

I'm not sure about "kumori aru" it sounds strange in my ears and might as well sound strange for a native speaker, gotta wait for Toritori to make sure.
You can say,:

ashita wa kumori dato omoimasu.

I guess its more neutral.

3) Anata no nihongo no sensei wa, konshuu no shuumatsu, nani wo shimasu ka?
3) eigo wo mite to omoimasu

use the jisho-kei in this situation:

"eigo wo miru to omoimasu"

Yeah, some of the phrases you mentioned such as dato and jisho-Kei haven't really been touched in my book yet :L I'll wait for Tori to give some input

You've already learned the way to answer without "to omoimasu", right?
e.g.
ashita wa kumori desu.
isogashii desu.
eiga wo mimasu.

You need to change polite forms (desu or mimasu) to non-polite forms before "to omoimasu".

desu --> da for nouns and na-adjectives
ashita wa kumori desu --> ashita wa kumori da --> ashita wa kumori da to omoimasu

putting off desu for i-adjectives
isogashii desu --> isogashii --> isogashii to omoimasu

using non-polite form for verbs
eiga wo mimasu --> eiga wo miru --> eiga wo miru to omoimasu

Quite regularly, isn't it?;-)

Ah, okay. I'll start using the impolite forms with ' to omoimasu ' from now on
