And I posted a picture of the only listed Malice Mizer film on scape.. wondering if it was the one?
 
I've never seen the movie verte aile/bel air - the only movie i know is bara no konrei (which i have got, but not yet watched! )
i dunno where the picture is from, tho :?
 

hmm.. oki.. go to the scape website, the link is www.scape.sc, then go to Malice Mizer, discography and then select videos.. you will find a list of movies there and sesect the one called bridal of rose and voila.. there is the picture^^

Well, Fureya, if it says Bridal of Rose, then it's Bridal of Rose XD As far as I know Malice Mizer only made 2 movies XD One with Gackt, one with Klaha.. And the Bridal of Rose, is probably the one with Klaha XD

You're right, they're not. And I'm either a fan of mute movies. But it was alright. Although a little long for my taste. I enjoied Verte Aile better.

Hey, i read somewhere that MM signed a new contract with a new label. Has anybody heard anything about it? I'm worried. What kind of Malice Mizer would it be?
 
Yeah ^^ my fave part ofBridal of rose is when Klaha is looking in the mirror XD It's so badly played XD but one can't have everything XD

i Downloaded both you can get Verte Aile (Gackt's movie) in the Mervelies box set and the mervelies Singles and DVD i want Mevervelies concert if anybody knows where i can download it please tell me

I'm getting the box set after Christmas but i wanna see the concert

Bara no Konrai is a fantastic film but Klaha always seemed a bit like a pimple on a pigs bum in Malice Mizer at times his voice is so beutiful but it just seemed like he had walked into a click of friends whon hearts weren't in doing it anymore and was on the outside looking in i always kinda felt sorry for him

He always kinda looked like hired help such a shame for such a telented singer

BTW is it true Mana Sama can't stand Gackt?

I've been into to Malice Mizer for I about 2 to 3 months and I must say they have the most intersting style of Music and the range is so vast. From classicial, european (a good example of that would be "Tukisita's Noctume") and Industrial ("No Pains, No Gains" the hard hitting bass line and the anvil like "clang" is brilliant and to top off the unlikely mix of a harpsichord just makes it an interesting listening experience and has quickly became one of my favourites songs). Other favs are Mana's vocal on MM last album "Blood and Rose of Meeting Again" and "Au Revoir"


The hard hitting androgyny of the band is also what attracted me to them the bizzare sense of styles is colourful and the make up is super as well. Mana the guitarist looks like a woman with and with out his make up, its brillaint and flamboyant and he is the one who stands out to me. Its no surprise hes the brains behind the band. Then again I like Boy George and the whole New Romantic era which was colourful they reminded me of it and it just proves you can't keep a intersting idea like that down!


If you want cool Malice Mizer goods go to Otaku, its a online shop the customer service is excellent and if the goods that you want aren't on the site check out CDJapan and if its still avaiable they can get it for you. They have still got the Boxed Limited Edtion of the Merveilles Album and Mana's Gothic Lolita Magazines!

Yes he does the vocals for that song, he whispers so his voice sounds feminine its on the last track of thier last album "Saintly Hall Of Rose" and he sings it live also, I believe its a tribute to the late drummer Kami

Mana moves his lips during the live for Sakai no chi to bara, and sings through a voice distorter for the live of Kyomu no chuu de no yuugi dais but there is no evidence of him actually singing on a Malice Mizer track.

And please, for the purposes of easier conversation, could you please refer to the songs using their japanese names as opposed to their translated names.

The japanese names are more well known.

Yeah, that's why I prefer to stick to japanese names.
The english names can be different depending on who translating them!
 
It would be a dream if Malice Mizer came back.. eh.. and I actually have the Merveilles boxsett.. its awesome, but I have not seen through all the DVD's thoroughly(I have to hide it from my gf so that she wont get jealous and angry at me)^^;;

I wonder when the whole new thing with Gackt and Yoshiki will start.. its a bitr strange though since Gackt is doing soo great solo, but Yoshiki back in music is just fantastic.. Though he made an oath never to play drumms again after Hide's passing away (R.I.P dear guitar man.. the world shines for you^^)
 
O_O What????? Malice Mizer signed a new contract??? Where did you get that from?... Kozi-sama has said that Malice Mizer is over. Why would they sign a new contract? They're doing other things now..
