Hello, thank you for your time in showing care into reading my post,i am new to this forums and over time will hopefully have more questions to ask, 🙂

i have lived in japan for 2 years when i was little, 5 to 7 years old,1997.
I love japan a lot and hope to live there when older, my plan originally was to attend FIU down here in Florida for a 2 year experience into getting a degree focus on Business majoring, also at the same time learning japanese. I have thought though, that the best way to learn any language is to live around it, so now being a junior in high school(first semester almost over), i wish to actually go to japan right after high school and try and find a MBA program and Univeristy/college based on Business majoring.

Only thing is, is i have not much experience in the japanese language anymore at all since of my 4 years of studying spanish language. But i think i can possibly find a language school around here and practice at home with extreme dedication.

so my questions in all are,

1.is there any colleges or universities in japan in which i dont have to know any japanese in order to attend?(this way i learn while im over there)

2.Is it possible for me to head straight to japan right after high school and in your opinion is it a good idea? especially when im trying to major in business.

3.Do the Universities of japan allow you to transfer from a College in America after attending the college for 1 to 2 years and require a master degree over there?

i know i have much more to ask but i will put it in new threads as it seems i have weared down my thredding :p .

thank you!

It is, by far, the best and fastest way to learn the language.

The answer to all three questions is, "Yes" for certain, few Universities. For number 3 you can transfer up to two years of credits at the University below and no Masters Degree is required.

I attended Sophia University's English language division in Tokyo for four years and received a degree in International Business and Economics. They are still offering the same degree. All classes are taught in English and you need only provide SAT scores to be accepted. They also require you to study at least 2 years of Japanese and they also offer an MBA program.

It is quite expensive these days, but they also offer scholorships which you might want to check into. You can also supplement your tuition by teaching English on the side. It was a great experience for me and I recommend it to anyone who is serious about learning the language and getting a degree at an international university while living in a foreign country. Check the link above for more info and good luck.

If you need any further info just PM me.

thank you Pachipro on the information, do you know of any other universities which offer a similar state?
