First trilogy that met my expectations.

Me and my friends did also found that scene when Sam marries, a way of showing off that he and probably the other hobbits weren't gay, but... it's not only in prison that you can get your *** kicked if you stare like that into another man's eyes. Even if he is your best friend.

It was kind of weird seeing male friendship being portraied like that, because if I recall my readings correctly, Tolkien didn't meant anything sexual with it.

Aragon is cool and all but i like legolas.
Man that bow is soooooooooooooooooo tight!!! And he's so nimble! look how he clims the elephant and gets on horses and stuff! so what dose legolas lady look like??

Not that the books were the end all and be all of the genre, but I thought the film could have been a LOT better. Sarumon shouldnt have been edited.
And they never once really indicated the race that Aragorn is. That disappointed me.
The saving grace I thought, was the movie trying to center back around the hobbits, and the shire. I hated the fact that they shy'd away from them, and focused more an man, and the elves so much.
But I'm just an anal LOTR fan. Meh.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm i don't know the change in ava. I had that in my secret stash of ava's, pics, and sigs and thought i would see what people said. ITs alright but i miss the marik.
I might keep this another day or so. I kinda like this one, but i miss marik.

lol oh esca tooo nice. They wanted to put more scenes with arwen so that you can get to know her character and see how emotionally strong she is. She's not in the book alot.

Not to get off subject...
But did anyone notice that the real hero in this movie was not Frodo..but Sam? Yeah, Frodo had to carry the ring and all....but Sam was carting his *** all over the place cause he was too weak....and at the very end, when Frodo had to finish his task... He blew it! He couldn't even let go and the only reason the ring was dropped into the fire was because of Golum. That little freak had his heart set on it so much...and the irony of it all was that he was the one to destroy it.
And yes, Aragon is sexy.

A heads up for all LOTR fans in Osaka!
The extended editions of the Fellowship and the 2 Towers WILL be showing at only one theater in Osaka, the Paradise Square. They are only showing them this month, the Fellowship on Fridays, and the Towers on Saturday.

i thought it was a wonderful film! i mean all three are great and in my opinion the best movie i ever seen. i can wait untill all three movies come out at once as some kind of triple pack. thats about 8 hours of wacthing the screen:drools:

Actually way more than that if you get the extended versions i would say about 12 hours since each movie was 3 hours and a half and like 40 mins of new scenes in each.
