Looking for a Kanji translation

I bought this super cool tray at the Thrift Store and I think it has Kanji on it. I know absolutely nothing about Kanji or Japanese and I'm just curious about what it says. Any help would be appreciated. Here it is:





Anybody have any idea what this is a picture of or what it says?

Rosanjin is a famous ceramicist. He is also a lacquer artist.
