I'm a US Navy Sailor stationed in Yokosuka, Japan for the next two and a half years.( it makes me real happy my friends are so jealous :-D
I Like anime (Naruto is currently my favorite)
And Manga (Naruto and X/1999)
I like the Naruto cast:
evil fav: Garaa
good fav: naruto

Anyway I've stumbled across this forum while trying to find some history on the game fatal frame that was based on a true story.
after reading some of the stuff that I've seen, I fell in love with the forum and became a member to chat with ppl who have the same passion for Japan as me.

Hi Fattyaddy ! Welcome To The Forum !!

Lucky guy! See if they will allow you extra money for living off base and only go on base when on duty! Try to get sent to Sasabo on Navy pay, then get over to Nagasaki, good trip. I spent my 2 Navy years in Fukuoka at Hakata Air Base(closed now). My one regret was spending too much money on booze & cigs & too little on traveling and buying Japanese things to send home. Learning some of the language will make your life much better, especially with the men(if it won't make your boyfriend jelous). Good luck on your new station! Post often & enjoy.
