Hello, native English speakers,
Which sentences would be used?
(1a) I like tennis much.
(1b) I like tennis very much.
(1c) I like tennis so much.
(1d) I like tennis a lot.
(1e) I really like tennis.
(2a) I love tennis much.
(2b) I love tennis very much.
(2c) I love tennis so much.
(2d) I love tennis a lot.
(2e) I really love tennis.

Thanks in advance.

Hirashin

To me, (1a) and (2a) are comparatively uncommon, and sound slightly unnatural. The rest are fine.

I agree with joadbres above. 1a and 2a are unnatural.
I also don't like 1c and 2c. It feels like these are sentence fragments, and the speaker/writer needs to complete the sentence
I like tennis so much, I paid $1000 to join a tennis club
I love tennis so much, I gave up my job so that I could play tennis all day.
The "so" implies some explanation or qualification. However I admit it is common, particularly for young people, to speak in fragments like 1c and 2c, and omit the qualification.
Anyway, to me, as a written, stand alone sentence, I would avoid 1c and 2c.

Thank you for the help, joadbres, Majestic, and johnnyG.
I didn't know you can say "I love _____ very much".
