Let's introduce

Hi everyone
I just registered on this forum a few minutes ago and read a small note saying "why not introducing" ? So here am I.
I'm from France, but travelled to Japan 7 times between 1998 and 2005. My first trip there happened like a daydream and left me very strong memories. I began to practice aikido in 2000 and made at that time some good japanese friends, from Kumamoto and Nara. Those people helped me to discover what japan really is.
Although a nice surprise in my private life don't leave me enough time to back to Japan, I hope I can come back there someday.
Well, I registered on this forum because i wanted to share the website I created. There you'll find some of the pictures I shot : Kuyshu area, Kanto area and Kansai area. I still need to fix some problems with it (as well as some english language mistakes, i guess).
If ever you want to have a look, don't forget to turn on the sound.

well, nice people. Polite, helpfull. You can forget a 10.000 yen note, and people will run after you to give it to you and will apologize for having disturbed you. If you get lost, you can ask your way to anyone they'll probably be late to their meeting but will help you. Ask your way in a police station, and they'll give you a map. Ask a question in a shop about the release of an album, and they won't let you go until they replied you.... When people there decide to do something, they'll focus 100% of their mind on it and do any task very seriously. As well, when they decide to have fun, I've seen some of them getting crazy like you can see in mangas. Most of the people can't speak foreign languages and are so sure they can't be understood that they'll repeat the same word 5 times without caring if you got it. On the other hand, walk in mountains far from anything, and you may meet an old woman who can speak your native language.
And about the dark side of Japan, I've known 30 or 35 year-old men, very great people, generous and so, who can't find love or privacy because of Japan's strange way of life and "use" prostitutes. Walk in Shinjuku's streets at 05:00 to go to the first aikido class of hombu dojo, and prostitutes will come to you, and you can see so much hope in their eyes. I've also seen lonely teenagers doing karaoke with their mobile phone.
Japan also has great monuments and scenic areas, if you can stop looking at those ugly buildings...
Well, that's just a small part of my experiences in this country.
