It is with some regret, but I have decided to leave the group. I enjoyed it all very much, there are some very fine young people amongst you.

Maybe or maybe not, I will look sometimes to see what you are still writing about, but I shall never write again.

Although I have never 'spoken' (if you will) with you so directly, I have read and enjoyed the posts of yours that I did read.

It is unfortunate that you intend to not write, even if you were to yet look in on us from time to time, but, at the same time, nothing lasts forever. Times do change, and people must move on from time to time....

In the event that I do not hear from you anymore, I wish you all the best in your life that awaits you just over the horizon there. May what you want and desire that is actually best for you, become yours !! With all my little bitty heart !! I'll miss you !!!

Hello Friends,

I like to come back to all of you. Somewhere in the middle of May 2006 it all began with a horrible headache and my left eye became slowly but surely completey cross-eyed. Only by training my left eye every hour half a minute long my eye came slowly back to normal. I could read again without trouble by the end of September/ beginning of October. I have been so worried and stopped writing you all. I was a bit down-hearted.
I hope that I may come back again? I have missed all those clever opinions from men and women so much younger than I. Love to meet you again.

The problem was that the neurologist gave me no hope of improvement, because my sixth brain had been out of oxygen. But it slowly my left eye came back to normal. Sometimes it helps to be an optimist.

I am so happy for you. It is good that you are feeling better.

My aunt were a few month ago told by the doctors that she would soon loose her eyesight. She and the whole family were obviously very distressed. Now a few month later she were told that they would be able the operate anyway and that the problem were not so serious. It is amasing how cruel doctors can be. Unfortunately we are so dependent of them that very few dares to voice any criticism.
