Erm, does anyone know of a good resource for studying kanji? I'm fine with respect to hiragana and katakana, but I'm somewhat anxious that I only know maybe two dozen kanji on a good day. That, and I've got all of about three days to learn more.

Why the rush? Cramming isn't going to help you encode kanji into long-term memory.

Sorry, I should have elaborated. I leave to spend a year in Japan in three days, and I just want to be as prepared as possible.

Relax, you're going to have an entire year to absorb the language. Enjoy your last few days in the states for a while. Studying before you're about to leave is just... silly.

You can get away with Hiragana and Katakana anyway, nice gaijin is right, studying would be a waste of time at this stage. However you might wanna take some learning material with you so you can learn while you are out there.

Alright, thanks for the tips. I suppose really should cool my jets and go see 300 again or something, since unadulterated violence is so relaxing

ooh, what I'd give for an Imax theater about now!
