learn japanese

last time i saw a thread containing a list of websites that could be helpful in order for me to learn japanese so i was wondering if anyone could provide me with some of those websites for starters of course. One of it was a link containing learnjapanese.com however when i tried to go back to that page my search toolbar wouldnt let me, i guess i dont have the link anymore and was wondering if anyone could provide me with one. Please help!!

The Kanji SITE - A guide for students of Japanese Kanji

This site is, bar none, the greatest I've found. But if you're an absolute beginner, it won't help much. If you're just starting out, I'm sure someone here has some good links.
