Late introduction

Uh, yeah. I kinda already introduced myself in the "Learning Japanese" section. but here goes again:

はじめまして皆さん。エルヴィスです。よろしくおねがいします。
Hello everyone. My name is Elvis. It's nice to meet you.

I'm an American as you can see. I started studying Japanese about six months ago and since then I've also studied Japan and it's culture and have grown to love it. I think I might go to school for Japanese but I'm not sure. I'm taking micro computers and networking at my local technical college right now and I just don't want to quit that and do something that I'm not sure of so for now I'm just studying at home in my free time. So far I've learned how to read and write hiragana and katakana and I know some basic words such as greetings, introductions, numbers, colors, seasons, some animals and objects, rain, snow, etc. I can recognize some kanji but I can only write a few.

Since I'm studying Japanese I'll mostly be posting in the Learning Japanese section.
