Oh I want a postcard! That would be soo sweet. I can put it up on my wall... once I have a more permanent room that is... summer housing sucks!

I'm not going anywhere really special this summer. I'll be going to CA for AX and maybe Hyde. Then I'll be going home (TX) and maybe Mexico for a couple of days. I might be going to NY for the Blood concert, since Kaine and sunsweet have made me addicted... and now I feel I have to blast it out my window every morning at 7 AM. I really hope my neighbors don't complain... If you want a post card, let me know. It won't be nearly as special as Kaine's but you can have one. ^_^ I can send you one from here (Boston/MIT) also if you'd like. Heh heh. I want to make a section in my wall for postcards from friends... that would be awesome.

He said, "I find myself telling my friends in Japan about all of you I met in America over and over again." So it made me wonder if he's been telling his friends about meeting some of us multiple times... or if he meant that he's been repeating the story over and over.

If that's the case, he could be romantic with me... ^_^ I would protect his heart from all evils! *runs off to device a plan to meet him again*

Damn, I was thinking the other day about the perfect thing to get autographed. I should have gotten one of those marriage certificates and signed my name on it... then tell Kamijo where to sign his "autograph". ^_______^ LOL, that would have been so awesome... even if for some reason someone said it wasn't legally binding, it would make a great poster... Damn... all good ideas develop once their too late. BTW, I loved your report. It was like reliving the experience. I wish I could go back in time and pause my life there. It was just so much fun.

I'm still writing my report... I decided to include as much detail before I forget any more of it. I'm about half done writing about the dinner on Friday. Oh, there's so much left to write about. And I'm still trying to get my website up properly so I can post the pictures I have. I promise it'll be up in the near future.

you know, i was looking at the cure english site and the next issue doesn't appear to have lareine in it. -_- maybe i misheard/misremembered? guess i'll continue to keep an eye out for it or maybe i could call jpophouse...

The new issue of Cure came out yesterday, it does have the Fanime report, and y'all are stars! I can't believe how many fan pictures they included in the Snap Cruising section! It's only one page, but it seems like they crammed everyone who posed onto it...? geikou, you're in it twice, once in cosplay and once with me, Niji, and Sarah. Bonnie, pastelflower, Psy, and Satsuki and her group are in it.

There are a couple of small pictures from each of the dinners with Kamijo's comments. For the first one, Kamijo was really impressed by the "Cinderella Fantasy" shirt. "Isn't the girl on the left wearing a shirt that could only be purchased from a certain store in Harajuku! Welcome to Japan." (LOL) His 3rd "diary" entry is about the Sunday dinner, particularly Bonnie's painting. There's a photo of it, and he said he was really moved to receive it, thank you!

The 2nd of his diary entries is about before the live. He said he was nervous during rehearsal. Also there's a picture of the cosplayers near the front of the line waiting. Kamijo wrote "Recently it seems that cosplay has decreased in Japan so I was really glad." There's one picture that's a closeup of him and fans' flowers during the live, and he wrote, "The same unchanging scenery as always." (LOL) He's right, that picture looks like it could have been taken at any Lareine concert anywhere.

Did anyone see a limousine...? I never saw one! But there are 3 pictures of Kamijo with this giant white stretch limo. Where did they take those pictures? Like, were they cruising for photo locations, and happened across some prom group's limo, and were like, "OMG, can we take a picture with your car?!" XD Looking at the report, if you weren't there, you'd surely think from the limo pictures that it was all amazing luxurious VIP treatment for Kamijo. Not that he doesn't look great in the limo, but... all I ever heard about or saw was vans so I couldn't help laughing. XD

geikou - I think that's actually LAST month's Cure issue. From the Japanese Cure website, it says that the July issue came out on May 20th under the back issues section. So the new issue would actually be Vol. 35 for August?

I do think Kamijo has to be a bit of a romantic. He may not be a lovey-dovey hearts and candies type of romantic in real life, but there are many different kinds. I don't think he could write and perform the songs he does without at least a little bit of some kind of romanticism in him.

I saw today that 12012 is going to be Oni-con's guest. I'm not a fan of theirs, so I definitely won't be going to Houston. Ah well. More vacation would have been nice but I'll just have to wait until Kamijo/Lareine comes back! :haihai:

LIMOUSINE. OKAY. i dont remember who i had this conversation with at the con- but as he pulled out in the little brown mini van i commented about how ghetto it looked. NO there was NEVER a limo!!! no one saw it!! (because in fact, i recall having had this conversation more than once and with several different people) HAHHAHAHHAHAHAH

VERY CUTE. i guess the fans who weren't there would love to think that he was treated like royalty. i know i would have liked to think so. -the whole time we were there we kept talking crap about how he wasn't accommodated well enough HAHA. because he was probably checked into a non-smoking room and he was checked out a day early. lol.

oh well, what am i whining about, the point is that they brought him here =] and we had fun running into him like a bunch of stalkers/groupies/fangirls watching him take his cigarette breaks. right girls?? I'm not sure how they decide which pictures to print for the snap cruising sections. I wonder if usually they go for a balanced mix of "interesting," "attractive," and "representative"? But this time, something about the selection strikes me as a little odd, because to me it looks like the people in this set were not chosen so much for their image, as for their Lareine-fan-ness, and it's not just cosplayers... I wonder if somebody besides the usual magazine staff had a hand in choosing them? The people who are in this snap cruising look to me to be disproportionately drawn from among the biggest Lareine fans, the ones who were at all the events, or in the front row, or going back again and again for extra signatures, or at the dinners, or always hanging out in the Marriott lobby, etc. ^^;;; It seems weird that I recognize so many people on that page.

pixy, I can see you in one of the live pictures, from the end when Kamijo posed with the audience. You're a little close to his backside... (LOL)

And yeah, minivan. Like the Lareinemobile they use here, except bigger, cleaner, and with fewer dents. I guess that is a step up in luxury, but it's not a limousine. But they found one somewhere. And Kamijo looks so amused/smug in the pictures, like "this is gonna look GREAT in the magazine." XD

i'm in there twice? erk. ^^; how do you guys get your cure mags? jpophouse doesn't even have the june issue up (says it's out of stock), the july issue (which went on sale last month) is still listed as upcoming, and of course there's no mention of the august issue. must get!

The only place I know of to get single Cure issues is J-xyz but they don't have August's issue listed yet. I called Hot Topic today to see if they might have it, but they only JUST got the June issue in. The woman I spoke with seemed amazed that they carried it at all; I don't think she knew before today!

This snap cruising seems a little different than past ones, though. I don't know how it was done on Sunday, but on Saturday we were posing in front of the Kamijo posters. They also only started announcing it 5 minutes before the dealer's room closed and the guy with the sign was walking up and down the remains of the autograph line. After I took my picture, I looked over and the other people standing around filling out the permission forms were all people I mostly recognized from the live/photo/autograph lines. I only have a couple of issues of Cure and their snap cruisings didn't have band posters in the background. Maybe non-Kamijo/Lareine fans didn't stop by because of the posters.... Just a theory.
