I know what you mean all the good bands disbanding.. but sometimes things don't work out or their are disagreements in musical diretions it can't be helped that eventually some bands can't stay together....And for Malice Mizer one of their band members (one that's been their almost since the inception of Malice Mizer) died ... it's normal that they decided in the end they couldn't continue with the band....

Mind you, some bands come back together ex: Lareine
 
I know what you mean, and you'll never hear me say that a band should stay together, only cebause they are a good band. If it doesn't work out anymore, they should stop. Buyt still it is not fair that all bands I like disband (why do I always have things like that :S)....

Yeah, but Lereine is only one band I like...I like Pierrot, but they are disbanded too
 
It's true... Most of the bands I like are disband... luckly I have a few bands that aren't either like Dir en Grey!

And I guess we have to think well, if they're not retired... or dead... they'll still continue to make great music. I mean Mana has Moi Dix Mois.... and so... at least there's that.

You're right A-chama, Moi Dix Mois will never be like Malice Mizer, but its good!! in "fackt", ITS GREAT!!
 
I personally don't like Moi Dix Mois.....*hides for angry MDM fans*. I like the music, but I don;t like te singing...too much screaming...

I love Kami, as much as I can love someone who I've never met and have no hope of meeting. Actually, I find that he was one of the manliest Jrockers around...adorable hair and pink butterflies galore.

Yes, I think he's very mannly too~ And What I really loved about him... was what I read about him and his personality~ He was so sweet!

And I love his hair!!! I've always liked long hair~ but he's really the one that pushes me to grow out my hair.... I want hair as long as his!

And wel I guess you an see... I'm just obsessed with him.... I mean I love drummers in general... but he's really the one I idealize the most!
 
And I can completely understand why! There's something about him that still even today screams "LOOKEE ME!!"

ah the hair...I always laugh when I look and Malice pictures and everyone's hair is frizzled out and over-dyed, while Kami's is just...*shine* ^-^
 
Kami's hair didn't use any specialities .. It was just Kami. Long srtaight silky hair.
 
ok stop guys or I will cry... :Sad: when I listen to their songs I mean Malice... I become sad cause there's no band anymore and Kami... damn he was just too cute and gacktness-lover your sig is just amazing I've noticed it long ago don't change it!

And Kami is totally adorable! And I find from the things that I've read that he had an incredible personality! And he seemed like such a kind person... Honestly Devious... I always feel a little sad when I think of him myself... because I know I'll never get the chance to meet him...

And yes, that another thing that I like Kami's hair was ALWAYS natural! When he died it he actually used a type of shampoo that dyed his hair when he washed (or so I've read) it... so I think it's only natural it was so beautiful<33 And I think it's amazing the type of things he was able to do with his hair and... when it was long <33 I just loved it!!!

But I honestly hav yet to find anything I dislike about him... or at least about the personality he showed to his fans...
 
Awww! Kami-sama I love him and MM! I read once that Yu-ki would rely on Kami for dance cues and once Kami ran off stage during a live show and left Yu-Ki holding the mic, utterly stage frightened. I just laugh every time I imagine it! Poor shy Yu-Ki! Kami you rascal!
He was really gorgeous. That hair!! I love when he played drums and it goes flying! It looks amazing! Like in "Au revoir", it just goes crazy and if I ever played drums I would want his long gorgeous hair so my hair could go crazy like that too! Actually I do want his hair, it's so long and nice and mine is "Blah!" It's a sin compared to his.
Long Live Kami Love! It's so beautiful seeing this thread and all the love! He would be so happy to see that people still love him and will continue to love him!


Please correct me if I am wrong or if I missed something, but I read somewhere that Malice Mizer claims to be on hiatus and that they are looking in touring again?
 
They've been on hiatus since 2001 so it's highly unlikely. I don't know where you read that.
 
I read it on some site...I really wish they would get bacK together. I know they have moved on but I would kill to see them live just once! Born wrong time, wrong place, wrong country...LOL! JJ!
 
Hehe yeah I know what you mean. You should be careful about stuff you read from fansites though. Lots of people like to believe rumors and other made up stuff and they put it out as factual information.

I'm new, but what i've read on this page has just amazed me. You guys are so positive about Kami and don't let the sadness get in the way of celebrating him. Go guys! Hope to become a regular on this thread!
 
Yeah, I think Kami wouldn't want people to remember him and be sad, but rather to be happy!
I love his hair too... I really wish I could grow my hair to be so long and beautiful like that. It's really gorgeous.
One of my favourite videos is the live version of Regret (I'm not sure which one though - I heard there is 2 live version), with Gackt on piano, and Kami on drums... it makes me just want to cry, but not from sadness, rather from the beauty of the music... it is so good to see Kami's happy transfigured face as he plays the drums in that piece.
 
I love him in te pv of Aurevoir when you can see his hair dancing in the air...

I love the love version of Regret Never heard that there were two versions of it though...

And ads for his hair XD My goal is to have hair as long as his was, before he cut it! I read and he didn't cut his for 6 years isn't that amazing? So I guess it will take a while before I get there.

Actually I can say, that even though Kami is no longer alive he has influenced me lot. Because I think to myself " If Kami were alive and I met him, is this the kind of person I want to be in front of him?" I feel that I want to be a person that wouldn't be ashamed in front of him.

I know this might seem like a big obesession, but the value he like most was "kindness" and he was someone that was health (even if he smoked) he didn't do anything, that I would want to ignor, or pretend he hadn't done. And I feel, like I want to be that kind of person too.

I guess may be what I say sounds weird... but Kami is really my hero.
