Japan Today - a news source I usually visit in case of extreme boredom in order to skim through the mind-boggling comments of frustrated English teachers - recycled a warmed-over thread ("Changes to your lifestyle since living in Japan") right here from the forum, which has been translated by Madame Riri, a Japanese blogger. Not only do they seem to be running out of original topics, they did not even have the decency of quoting the original source.

It is quite amazing to see how many Japanese bloggers refer to our threads, especially when blogging about foreigners' reflections on Japan. I found Japan Today's masterpiece courtesy of A Fish Out of Water.

This is bizarre. It wasn't even a particularly interesting thread.

Perhaps most odd, though, is that it generated far more commentary elsewhere than we had in the original thread itself.
