Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I hope to get some advice from you. I have lived in Japan for 20 years.
I recently came back from a business trip abroad. I was jet lagged and exhausted. Worth mentioning: I have a disability. I only have one arm.
In short, I bought shinkansen tickets but quickly lost one of them. I went to get a reprint but was charged an extra 3,400 yen.
I apologized and said I've never lost a ticket in 20 years. I was embarrassed. I think my disability and exhaustion caused this accident.
I'd like to get this money back.
I was expecting Japanese omotenashi but didn't get it. I just got a bad feeling at the end of my trip abroad. What a terrible welcome home.
What can I do to get this money back? JR West customer service said they couldn't do anything.
