Hi everyone, I was just curious about what the Japanese word for a "start up" is incase there is an equivalent. Also, what would the word for a small business? Google translate is giving me 小規模なビジネス is that accurate? I'd appreciate any help!

I think it is 新興企業 ( しんこうきぎょう ) A start-up company. There might be other terms, this is the one I know! Oh and Google translate is horrible.

Thanks! I can never trust google!

What do you mean by small business?

合同会社 is like an LLC.

start up: ベンチャー企業
small business: 零細企業
