Are there any accurate figures of the number of civilians killed at Nanjing? The figure seems to vary widely depending on who is asked. I searched the site briefly, but couldnt find a statistic.

To my amazement, she said no (this is a japanese university educated woman). When i asked her to guess, she said 20,000.

Well such virtue might not be necessarily universal: if someone did a bad thing in the past, it seemingly is perfectly normal for Koreans to blame his/her children, grandchildren and further. No wonder why I was the only open Bush supporter here, if you don't agree with the liberal stance of this board you are banned.
