So it gave you the same thing which I told you is correct, and you in your infinite wisdom decided to rearrange it into something which is incorrect and then come here and ask us to make sure your incorrect correction is correct.....

For the THIRD ****** time..... English and Japanese have entirely different word/phrase order. To a Japanese person seeing

私は
のが好き
を身につける
おむつ

it looks EXACTLY as odd as "I diapers to wear like" looks to you.

Don't forget to post a photo.

You do realize we can actually recognize and read those sentences straight off the page without translation software, right?

No, that has jacksh!t to do with it. Those translations all read left-to-right just like English.

Sorry y'all I wasn't trolling I was just being a jerk cause I thought I done a research wonkothesane and Mike cash are right I forgot and googled this "Your Wikipedia knowledge is correct - vertical Japanese is top-to-bottom,right-to-left; and historically (i.e. pre-WWII), horizontal text was treated as a single row of vertical text. This meant that since you start on the right whenreading vertically, you started on theright here as well.Oct 10, 2013 I thought vertical text was a different thing than horrizontal. I'm going to get

のが好き tattoos and post a photo of it on here tomorrow. I was arguing with you because systranet was right and Google was wrong. When I typed systranet translation into Google it was right from the start and didn't realize it cause I got so many back feeds from Google.

Fixing to leave to get the tattoo. It's 1030 now so expect something around 2 or 3pm. The appointment is at one.
 
Got the tattoo I'll post a picture of it in about an hour in a half. Got to ride my bike home.
 
When you post the picture, could you also include the background story as to why you wanted a tattoo with this particular sentence in this particular language? I'm intrigued - did you lose a bet? Is it some sort of joke or reference?
 
No joke I can't take a photo yet don't have any bandages yet to take a picture. I'm not taking this one off until I get more bandages. When I change the bandage I'll take a photo. No I didn't loose a bet. I just felt like tattooing my fetish on me.
 
I'll take a full photo of it when I get bandages that's just partial.

You might have a notification saying "cocoichi disagreed with your post". That was my mistake. I am on a smartphone and the screen moved before I knew it.
 
Well, it's legible and grammatically correct and none of the characters are upside down or mirror-imaged... that's a pretty good score for an American with a tattoo in Japanese.

I still think 履く is the preferred verb and the 私は is redundant, but that's relatively minor.
 
I would have left out the 私は if it was horizontal on my arm. if it was vertical on my arm without 私は it would have read out to be diapers wear like to. Instead of I like to wear diapers. If i put おむつを身に着けるのを好む horizontally on my arm it would have said I like to wear diapers. So I had no choice but to add the 私はfor it to read right vertically. and your talking about characters being upside down. I used libre office to vertical the symbols. Certain fonts would change the symbol upside down so I had to be careful selecting the right font so it would stay up right and not turn clock wise at all.

The guy got over on me. We agreed on 250... for 13 characters since 13 characters translated wrong it was 15. So he tried to charge me 300. So he said that if I want it to stay 250 Id have to tell him what it says. I said no can you do 275? he said yes. I wish he kept it the same but like I keep telling my cousin whats the point of the tattoo if I tell you what it is. Thats why I chose it in japanese.

Im contradicting myself when i say whats the point if i tell you what it is. On here I am. But I wanted to make sure everything was correct advice is a lot different. But in real life im not contradicting myself because I will never tell no one what it means. If my boss asks me what it means Ill tell her It means i bust *** at work. If friends ask it means well I aint got to tell them ****.

And Im kind of glad that its covered right now because I'm still at Starbucks when I walked in there was about 6 Japanese girls sitting at the table.

Just as I suspected....all the artistry of running your arm through an inkjet printer.

Is your diaper fetish a secret? If so, it's only a matter of time until one of your friends or enemies figures out what it says and tells everybody.

And you could have saved the extra money by leaving the 私は off....it makes absolutely zero difference to the meaning whether it is there or not. Japanese sentences drop "I" all the time. In fact, not having it there would be more natural.

my enemies at work all ready know. or the work I used to work at. So it doesnt really matter. If I move it wouldn:t matter anymore that I got the tattoo

That can be there or not be there. It makes no difference. It is equally correct with it or without it.
 
I used the google translate app on my phone to verify the tattoo was right. uploaded the same tattoo image to it and it came back right. Waygo translation is crap compared to google translate.

You definitely would have blown their minds with that tattoo.

All things considered it came out well.
 
Well its healing, I noticed he made some errors, Ill have to post the photo later. But he made 7 to 8 errors on my tattoo mainly not making the lines thicker in some places. and one line he made the thickest of all.
As for another issue, as soon as I had the tattoo done I noticed bumps popping up I thought the guy used a dirty needle or something. So I just asked my mom what the bumps was from (shes a dermatologist) . I thought it was from the needle, it wasn't. She said its flat warts.
She said I got flat warts from somebody. Hmmm... (tattoo artist?) What do I do? Report him? If he has flat warts that are contagious like she said they are... I think I should definitely report the tattoo artist. Like I said they didn't pop up until after he touched my arm and after he tattood me.
No body has touched me since I got the tattoo.

I don't know anything about flat warts, but I wouldn't say there are any 'errors' in his work. The お in おもつ is a little sloppy just below where the vertical line crosses the loop, but eh.

In the writing style you chose (which I would classify as 'grade school penmanship') all the lines should be equally thick. Tiny variations in thickness are pretty much irrelevant. Line thickness would be important if you chose a brushstroke font, but you didn't.

I'm not sure if line thickness is supposed to very when a calligrapher writes with pencil, but in any case, this isn't that style anyway. It's in the style of handwriting models for school kids.
