In August 2020, Japanese trading house Mitsui and curry-rice chain Ichibanya opened the first CoCo Ichibanya restaurant at CyberHub, a commercial complex in Gurugram, near New Delhi. The restaurant has drawn many customers, although the COVID-19 pandemic kept it from reaching its target. Now, both companies are looking at opening a second restaurant.
