Japanese (sochu) vs. Okinawa sake (awamori)

I love Okinawa sake (awamori in particular) because it never gives me a hangover as I believe when mixed with water, it refreshes you somehow and you wake up early and feeling great.

My wife just introduced me to Japanese sochu/sake that can be drank straight like wine, but for me, still not have a sluggish effect the next day as wine would.

I hope one day when this -vid pandemic is over, we can fly up and have an expat party.
