Japanese Recipes for a beginner.

I was curious if anyone had some links to some easy Japanese recipes here that I could check out. I'm a pretty good cook, but I honestly don't know where to begin with Japanese cuisine. I did some checking on the main site and didn't have much luck and did some Google searches and didn't end up with anything I would say appeared to be easy recipes.

to make the Yakitori chicken, and it is so tasty! easy to do too! altough I must say it tastes so much better with Japanese ingredients.
