Another museum piece which I haven't come across before.

Powerhouse Collection - Oribe ware from Japan

Disc, Oribe ware, ceramic, Japan, date unknown

collection.powerhouse.com.au

No measurements unfortunately.
It was purchased 1948 so before then as to time.
Any assistance or guidance to a Japanese museum would be appreciated.

Here is how it is used. The wheel is used for drawing up water from a well in a bucket.

Perfect, thank you, found a few other photos as well. Found a bit more information about the glazes used for this Oribe ware.
