Japanese language school application questions

I have a few questions about applications in language schools in Japan. Or application for pre-college visa through language schools ^^

1. What if the financial sponsor is not a relative. Like, for example, my parents' friend? What do you think are the papers/documents I need to submit to confirm our relationship?

2. What if my financial sponsor is a relative who has a "Designated Activities" visa in Japan... Does the visa of the financial sponsor matter?

3. You're supposed to have Y1,500,000 - Y2,000,000 above in the bank balance certificate right? (my financial sponsor's bank balance certificate)

4. I've been to Japan 3 times as a tourist already, going on 4 a month from now. One of the requirements in some language schools are the photocopies of Japan immigration stamps. Will that make my application for pre-college visa easier? Just wondering ^^

1. My financial sponsor was my "Aunt's Fiance" and I had no problem*. Though being American I think they give me an easier time. Some schools require your financial sponsor be a parent. I don't think you have to produce any papers proving your relationship, however some schools want to interview your financial sponsor.

2 & 3. The way they evaluate visa applications is not very transparent, but your financial sponsor being in Japan may be a plus. The fact that you've been to Japan several times and not had any problems (e.g., been arrested, overstayed your visa) may look reassuring to whoever reviews your application. These are just icing on the cake though, your financial ability and lack of a criminal record seem to be the main items of interest.

As I don't work for the ministry of justice, these are only my impressions and they may be wrong.

*I do have a hunch that the school might have put my 'aunt's fiance' down as my 'uncle', but I have no proof of that.
