Japan veteran ready to return!

Hi you all,
I'm so glad to introduce myself here. I'm an EFL teacher who last taught in Japan in spring of '04, at a super school in Okayama Prefecture, which I left due to a family emergency. My first stint was from 2000-02 on Kyushu.

I have so incredibly much more to learn, I can't even describe to you. I haven't even posted on a board for a very long time, as I'm feeling so far away at the moment. I wonder if it's still possible to come back, as I'm considerably older than most.

I want to start learning Japanese again, study art, flowers and the tea ceremony, attend festivals in kimono, see my friends again and make more, and once again teach a great group of students I can get to know like I did all those I miss so much. And then I have lots of writing to do about my experiences!

I know EFL teachers here into their 50's. Age really isn't that much of an issue.
