Is The Giant Screen At The Q-Front Bldg. At Shibuya Crossing Gone?

this is a picture of the Q-Front building taken this morning. The large screen has definitely been removed, and it doesn't look like a temporary measure to me, given that the first reports on the internet surfaced last summer:

Thanks, Thomas. Looks like we have the answer. It is almost akin to having the Hollywood Sign removed and replaced with billboards.
 
We may have jumped the gun on this. Someone posted a comment at my blog that a smaller monitor screen is to be installed and ready to go by August 1. We shall see...maybe.
 
Yes, that seems to be correct. Their latest update is from May 9, 2013:
