Is Aoni Textiles a Japanese company?

Would anyone help me verify Aoni Textiles Ltd. (www.aoni.kyoto) is a legitimate Japanese company? Their website shows two different addresses, one in China and one in Uji, Kyoto . I've tried to find them in the corporate registry, and many other searches, though I have failed thus far.

This seems to be a design studio located in Uji. If you check Google Maps, it's the metal structure in the background resembling a Quonset hut.

I assume they either have some of their textiles produced in China or export their products to China (there is a demand for authentic Japanese high-quality products). The website does not raise any red flags.

Thank you! Yes I have contacted them and would like to support their business. I was not able to find any official sign in the street view of google or find a company number in the Uji registry for company names and numbers.

It seems legitimate. I looked at their instagram.
They are listed in online business directories like this one:
