Interested in contributing?

Hi guys,

I've been running the website nagoya-info.com for about 4 years and I feel its time for some fresh input into the site (Articles, Stories, Pictures, experiences etc). Would anybody like to become a contributor to the site?

Essentially "nagoya-info" is a Nagoya-city focused website and so the core information (events, sights etc) will stay as they are. However, I would like to represent Japan in the 'wider sense' through writings, experiences and opinions of others in Japan, foreigners and Japanese.

I know there are many of you with blogs and websites about living here, but for those who don't and are interested in contributing, please contact me here or through the website's contact area and I'll be sure to get back to you ASAP.

Just to let you know,I'm not intending to steal articles or stories so I can publish them as my own. Any contributions would be fully recognised with an Author picture and mini biography at the bottom of every written piece. There would also be a chance of becoming a partner of the website if it can grow and you are enthusiastic. As it stands, the site get over 5000 visitors a month and the facebook page has around 1250 fans, so you would be reaching quite a large audience with anything you publish.

I don't really understand what are you looking for, so I just propose an idea... Tell me if it's stupid ^^ !
I'm French, and I think it could be great an trip experience exchange, for foreigners who came to Nagoya, with their impressions... May be foreigners interviewing in the street, or by a special website for sharing travel experiences... And the same for Japanese who wants to share their travel in the newspaper... Does this correspond to the expectations of your website ?

I realise I wasn't very specific in my first post. The reason is that the first time I tried to post, it got deleted and wrote it again in a rush. Sorry I wasn't clear.

Actually, your idea is great and I really appreciate you replying. I think the idea of interviewing people would work. In the case that interviews are not possible, I'm sure there would be a lot of people who want to say a few words about their time in Nagoya.

By the way Roo, have you been to Nagoya? If so, would like to start by contributing?

may be you could find contribution on special trip website (this one should be great... but I just start here too so I don"t know where you could ask) ...

Your site is very colorful and interesting.
As some already highlighted, im not very sure what you are looking for. Even in your site, you talked about MacBook which is not related to Nagoya as well.
Besides that, how to contribute to your site? Send to you by email?
