I've been wondering myself as well about the topic "senmon-gakko's".
Since I'm not eligable to study at a Japanese University as I didn't pass EJU, I was thinking of applying for a senmon-gakko instead.
What I heard from friends though is that it will be hard to get employed when you've graduated from a senmon-gakko. This has not been said by just one friend but rather a few. I'm not sure about gaikokujin's graduating from a senmon-gakko and looking for a job though.
Another thing when you apply for a senmon-gakko is to keep in mind everything will be in Japanese. I haven't heard of a senmon-gakko giving classes in English. Which means it's probably best to go to a language school first, taking and passing JLPT1 (N1 now), and then applying to a senmon-gakko.
Sorry for having haijacked your topic, but I'm not sure about being able to go to an university after having graduated from a senmon-gakko. I don't know either if you can get your masters directly or first have to do a 4-year bachelor. I'll ask a friend if no one else knows about this, as I haven't heard of any foreigner applying / graduating from one.
Hello everyone , does anyone have some information about specialized training colleges in japan , or have studied or is studying there . i wanna know if the diploma deliverd by those schools allows to continue studies after graduating in a university to have higher degree as a bachelor ? and if yes , what are the conditions should the student have to apply for a univ ? and do all the univ accept students from those schools , or just some of them ? 
. yes i know that everything in senmon-gakko is taught in japanese , so we need a year in japanese language school , actually i wanna apply for senmon gakko through monbusho scholarship , i've heard that it may be possible to join a university in the 3rd yeah after graduating senmon gakko , but the student must have some outstanding academic achievement that meets certain criteria , and it also depends on the university , anyway i don't know anyone who did this before to confirm this , plz if everyone knows something about this share with us , thank you
