I haven't found a link to this site anywhere in this forum yet, so I'm gonna go ahead and post a link here. This site, Tokyoyakei.jp, is nothing but images of Japan, (primarily Tokyo), at night, under the lights. Most of the images are desktop/wallpaper size (1024x768 or whatever). There isn't an image in there that isn't beautiful. I have to be careful...if I spend too much time looking at the pictures, I get "J-Sick" (homesick, but not really home...get it?). And yes, I've seen the gallery here, and those pics are really nice as well...but not big enough for a desktop! :sorry:

Here it is...Tokyoyakei.jp

That's one of my favorite site! The pics were captured over a short time period and compiled together (don't know if there's a photography term for that), but it looks extremely nice. :)

WHOOAAAAAA it looks really AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!! 👍 I can't wait to get to JP :( :(

So far my favorite pics are the ones of the Rainbow Bridge and the skyscrapers. THat Rainbow Bridge is the same Rainbow Bridge in the movie "Tokyo Raiders." I can't beleive the size of it...it makes the Golden Gate Bridge look like toll booth.

THANKS ARC! ^^

that just made my day ^^

i LOVE this park.. i'ma gonna go see this **** when i (cuz i will.. sooner or later) get to tokyo!

Thanks dude...the image quality on that site is unreal, and most translation software will work there as well.

Wow these are beautiful!
It looks like this tower was assimilated by the borg from Star Trek!
I love japan and I can't wait to get there... :(

Are there some pictures taken in the US too, or do Japan also have a statue of liberty? :?

The japanese like to "borrow" things from other countries, from what I hear, and blend them very well into the surroundings.

in fact there is a statue of liberty, but it's just a small copy - I can't remember exactly, but I think it is about 15m?
It's like the other theme parks, where you walk through little Amsterdam (or the Netherlands) and so on
so you need not to waste time in the plane to get there - because of the limited time of holidays :)

arigato for my new wallpaper :p :p

where can i find pictures of the ikebukuro park...... ( from the drama iwgp)

Wow.. what an awesome site! And the 360 degree pics are great for those of us with multi-monitor setups! Thanks!!
