Well, I'm happy to say that my computer is healed, after spending some quality time bonding with it and fixing it. I can once again be a regular visitor. That sad thing in this though, is that all the links I had to the really GOOD J-Pop and J-Culture sites were lost along the way. Oh well.

I keep an external hard drive for just back-ups. I leave it unpluged from my system so if disaster strikes, it's there to help.Luckly you can use the search method to get some back from the Forum records. Real glad to have ya back!!

Actually, Frank, I had backed up everything I needed. I had burned everything on to CD's. Unfortunately, due to my WinXP being conflusterated so bad, everything that I had burned on CD is no longer readable. Oh well...live and learn eh?

You should always use a dedicated program for CD burning. Nero works fine for me, but there are others as well. Those built-in things aren't all that great
