I want to see a wedding in Japan

Hi!

I am going to go to Japan this summer, and I will visit the Asakusa Kannon Temple on Sunday, 13th of August. Do you think it will be possible for me to see a Japanese wedding there?
If not, where else could I see a wedding? At which time are they normally?

I've seen weddings at the Meiji Shrine before. It's located right next to the Harajuku station on the Yamanote line. Possibly the most famous shrine in Japan, you'd probably want to stop there anyways. Everytime I've seen a wedding, it has been a weekend and around noon.

No disrespect to the OP, but this is exactly the reason why my wife and I pulled out of having our wedding at Hokkaido Shrine and opted for a private chapel. I had a friend who went to a wedding there previously and said that just as it started, 3 busloads of Korean tourists arrived and spent the entire ceremony shrieking and running around photographing everything with no respect for the occasion itself. (No disrespect to Koreans either - could just as well have been anyone).
