Been here 6 years and never heard anyone else with this problem ? Any chance you joined some other site at the same time ?It would seem like if this site was responsible , we would have had others complaints? Because of the time difference in Japan , it may be a bit before an Admin comes on. Hopefully they can help you . Sorry for your problem.

I noticed that you had earlier posted your email address publicly to one of our threads. There are programs - so called "spam bots" - harvesting email addresses in order to add them to their spam lists. I suggest you use the Private Message function here on JREF when communicating with other members. PMs do not reveal your actual email address.
I don't want to sound condescending, but it is common knowledge not to publicly post your email address and/or other particulars anywhere on the internet.

If you post your e-mail in a public place and then try to blame the admin for your dumb mistake saying that you recieved spam after joining, feel free to leave any time.
But, if you are full aware of what may happen if you do post your e-mail on a public site then you have no worries!!!

I've been here a little over 4 years and have never received any spam concerning my account at JREF. In fact I hardly ever receive any spam. Maybe you need some good anti-spam software or not publish your e-mail publically.

I love gmail! Though I wish it allowed us to put images directly in emails. Attachments become so much of a hassle, haha.
