hi, im new here today and i have to admit that im not a japanese speaker and i really dont have a clue what im talking about... BUT, my boyfriend has been learning japanese for about a year now and he's really good at it. He went to stay in japan in Jan of this year and loved it. I'm starting to think about christmas presents and im wanting to give one or two of the presents a japanese theme! I have found a beautiful picture of a Kyoto garden in the snow which im going to turn into a christmas card, and i wanted to writye a message inside using japanese characters but i dont even know where to start! I would like to say: Merry Christmas Darling, I love you. I wonder if anyone could help me out! Thank you!!

I'll guess メリークリスマス、あなた!愛してるよ!

By the way, please don't post the same thing twice; it's against the forum rules. Also, I moved this to "Learning Japanese" because it's better suited to that forum.

As for me posting it twice, it was an accident, when i first posted it i didnt mean for it to go into the members introduction bit so i re posted it. And i think that i posted it in the forum that you moved it from because it said something about if anyone wanted a japanese phrase translated then people would be happy to help so i thought it was suited just fine. But anyway, thanks for the help
