What rank do you have to be to use jaybot? And how do you use it?

I think anybody can do it. Just start a new thread in the Jaybot forum and ask it a question. If you want to keep the conversation going, you have to quote its response (use the Reply option on its post) otherwise it won't reply to your reply.

In terms of what you can do on JREF, moderators can do various additional things essential to their job, newbies can't do a few things to avoid people getting an account simply for malign purposes, and everyone else can do the same things.

Thomas - is that right?

It said I had: insufficient privileges.

Jaybot will retire once the forum is upgraded to its latest version, as the developer no longer supports the add-on.

I have the same issue as @derekiscool - it says:
"You have insufficient privileges to post threads here."

I thought it was because I was a new user, but obviously @derekiscool isn't with over 100 posts, so there must be some other restriction.
