I can't live without you.

Hi everybody,

I've been playing around with the word "without", I am curious, how would you say "I can't live without you."?

I've seen:

-私はあなたなしでが生きられない。
-私はあなたなしでは生きられない。
-私はあなたがなしで生きられない。

Are any of these correct? How would YOU say it?

Conversely, would "I can't live WITH you." be 私はあなたで生きられない。or 私はあなたと生きられない。? I am leaning towards the first since で would be limiting the way in which one could do something.

Thanks Mike! So では is just the particle で then the particle は right? So で is modifying 'without you' and then は is making あなたなしで the topic of the sentence right? My trouble here has just been the grammar.

So how would one say "with or without you" (yes, like the U2 song)?

Right. なし is a noun form of ない, so あなたなし is a noun phrase and で indicates a state.
