Hello everyone,

I am wondering if Howl's Moving Castle will be getting a cinema release in the UK. Does anyone know?
'Spirited Away' was quite a hit over here, but I don't think it had a full release.

If someone can confirm it is not coming out, I will start looking for it on DVD as I really want to see it.

I don't know about the UK, but it will be screened in the Seattle International Film Festival. I want to go so bad too, but I know it will be released in the US around Summer. So, I'll just wait.

The U.S. premiere of Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle is set to take place during a retrospective on Japanese animation at New York's Museum of Modern Art. Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata: Masters of Animation, a 13-film tribute, is slated to take place June 3rd through June 30th at MOMA's Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters.

It looks amazing, like every other Hayao Miyazaki movie's are works of genius.
I've been seing previews for the movie in my NewType USA and they just started to appear in Canadian Television! I can't wait for them to go to the big screen!

You may have already found out, but the english version will be released in August in the UK.

saw it today. nice to see disney has decided to release it in both dubbed, and subtitled versions. of course, the animation is excellent, but i thought the story wasn't too interesting. at over 2hrs. it seems a little long. the english cast is very good especially billy crystal.

I saw it to, oh man. In complete awe, it was animated so well. I can't wait to buy it! ^^
