how to see new replies to my posts

I'm not sure, but somebody actually has to reply to your post to see it...? That's my understanding.

OK.....
Go to "My Settings"
Then "Edit Options"
Then "Messaging&Notification"
Then "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
Then check off "Instant email notification"
As soon as someone replys to your post, you will get an E-Mail telling you about it.

Or...if you don't want a mess of emails coming in...do not check the email option.
When you log on go to "My Settings" and then you can view your subscribed threads. If someone has answered you, it will be displayed there.
Chances are...if you haven't posted anything interesting, that there won't be any replies!

I just go to "new posts" and if there are responses to the threads I've posted to, they'll show up there. Also helps me keep on top of new threads as well.

This is the way I do it, and I do actually miss replies sometimes with the New Posts option, and I can comb through all the threads that I've started or replied to in "My Settings"... but, I'd prefer not to be mailed every time I get a reply to a thread I wrote/replied to, because I post here quite a bit... but, if you're waiting on a response to that new Kanji tattoo you're fancying, then maybe that option is for you.

What Glenn said, and, when I speak like that, I'm hoping (which is sheer idiocy on my part) that what I write might get read by someone else who has the same question... inevitably, the question will be asked a second, third, and fourth time, at which point I throw up my hands and yell "JUMANJI!" in the hopes that something will happen that will take me out of this world... in fact, nothing ever does happen, and I feel just as hopeless as before, and a little more frustrated.
Don't worry, this isn't a rant about you, this is actually the first time I've seen this question... and it being about a forum feature is actually in the right place, but somehow, someway, someday, we'll jamb all these other types of similar questions in one place where everyone will be forced to read them.

As I said, I had NO PROBLEM, with your question, I simply provided you an answer as to the means in which I answered it... as far as a whole world... what do you even know about it?
