Hi! (Wow, things have changed here... took me a while to find this part of the forums.)

When I'm talking to a friend and refer to talking to each other online (Skype, etc.), what's the best way to say it in Japanese? For example, I want to say sorry for not being able to talk much lately because I've been busy. Should it be "(最近勉強ですごく忙しくて)お話できなくてごめん?" "会えなくてごめん?" 喋る?話す?

Can I also use 会う for referring to meeting up to chat on Skype and such? "後でSkypeで会おう"? 話そう?

I would say なかなかスカイプできなくてごめん and じゃまたスカイプで, respectively.

Thanks for replying! Is there also a more general way of saying it? It's not always on Skype (we use several means) and I've never sure how to refer to "talking" in general. ちゃっとする?
And is it wrong to use 会う if we're not physically meeting one another?

How about (if you haven't been in contact at all)
最近連絡取れなくてごめん

ご無沙汰しております
