your context is still a little vague; the established relationship between the two people will determine the way the question should be worded.

One thing, I would not be asking a Japanese speaker "how much they liked me?" . The question is too dirrect especially in a delicate situation. Unless you are absolutely sure the person really does like you and in this case it looks like thats what you want to find out I would stay away from that question.
I know I wouldn't ask a native speaker if I needed help just formulating the question. It works on sort of a light joke level if you're asking a favor and maybe prompting with exaggerated hand motions at the same time to indicate "how much" is enough. Otherwise they really, really won't know how to respond and like Dave said it only ends in embarrassement for both parties.
It is too straight forward to me! Filipino and Brazilian girls always asked me this question. At a loss, I was always like, "a lot (I guess)." Usually less after they asked that.
