If you really want to impress a woman - here's a list that might just get your foot in the door.

This is what Japanese women say they don't like in a man...so...

DO NOT....

Act arrogantly in a restaurant or shop
Ask to split the bill down to the last 10 yen
Panic when you find a cockroach or insect
Clean your teeth with a toothpick immediately after eating
Have too many figures on your office desk
Wear a printed T-shirt that can be seen under your shirt
Be awful at parking your car
Look good in a business suit but in ordinary clothes...
Get too into your mobile phone games on the train
Wipe your face with the hand towel in a restaurant
Be bad at wiring but good with a computer
Have a wallet which is only big because of receipts and useless cards
Check your hair in the train window
Wear a smart business suit but your socks are white and cotton
Use pictographic characters in your phone mail
Have such bad hand writing that no one can read it at the office
Type too quickly and loudly
Collect point cards or coupons
Drink sweet cocktails like Kahlua milk

Wear a smart business suit but your socks are white and cotton

I'll always remember, as a teenager, sitting in a doctor's waiting room opposite a very serious-looking, smartly-suited man who was calmly reading a paper. When he crossed his legs it was revealed that he was wearing fluorescent pink socks. Yes, not even a nice delicate shade of pastel pink - we're talking bright here!

My husband ran like a little girl when we were stung by yellowjackets while I calmly walked ignoring the pain.

I think the white cotton socks are fine, too. If you had only those, you don't even have to worry about matching the colors.

The women i've dated seem to find my enthusiasm for console games less than charming especially when I ask them if they mind if I get a couple hours in before bed. So I guess... that could be considered a serious turn-off. I suppose I should be more considerate and focus my attentions on them more often but dang... PS3 and Wii, what`s a brother to do?

Hey!! I'm Dutch ok? We have to split it!! It's in our nature.. Nah, I'm kidding. My girl and me always argue who gets to pay bill.. "No I'll pay", "No I will!!" etc. Like any other ordinary couple.. Right?

Most of the ones I noticed are related to the "ossan" stereotype so I can see what they mean, haha. Most guys young and old tho agree that wiping your face with those hot hand towels is a fantastic thing to do, haha.

The others are what I expect are normal stereotypes for what girls don't like about guys right? Drinking girly drinks, freaking out at sight of a bug, being too nerdy, not paying for dates?

I sometimes wipe my face with the hand towel, but so does my wife!
I'm bad at both wiring and with techie stuff!

Some of those don't seem to be translated correctly:

-Split the bill down to the last 10 yen
-Can't connect A/V cables, not good with computers
-Have a wallet bursting with receipts and useless cards
-Use a lot of pictographic characters in e-mails
-Take sloppy phone messages and write on the white board with bad handwriting

This list is not only for Japanese ladies, it's for a lot of ladies in the world!

One to add on it, Japanese ladies don't like it when you complain to much, and if you are don't have any responsibility feeling ( at least this is my point of view I got from the J-ladies)

That's puzzled me... why are white socks more comfortable than other colours? :? I'll have to try them, in that case! I solve the sock problem by having all black socks... that way, I don't have to worry about matching them, either.

Stalled a standard shift while parking one time, and it looked just a bit clumsy, every chick around the parking lot were laughing their asses off..... so I agree that one needs to be good at driving and parking, and usually I am, I just had an off day of sorts that day.

White socks don't have any color dye in them, better when you sweat, and generally speaking most white socks are made from cotton, more comfortable on your feet and better at wicking away sweat .
