How much can a graphic designer and programmer earn?

Hi all

we'll be opening a branch in Tokyo, so we're wondering how much normally
does a graphic designer and programmer earn in a month? they would be
handling mostly flash-enabled websites with ASP and PHP integration with a
database system, either Microsoft Access or SQL server.

Are you talking about doing local hires of Japanese people for these positions?

I presume you have already investigated the various labor and tax laws that will apply to your office.

Thanx for the reply. Let's say that the laws do not apply and i have to place an ad to recruit these ppl, how much would the salary be? those laws will be handled by our japanese friends, but they are not free at the moment and we need the estimate soon.
