How many british members or people living in england are there on this forum? Im just wondering because i am english and i live in somerset in england and i am just interested to meet or chat to anyone else who lives in england and is interested in japan because i am the only person i know who is interested in japan where i live- also i would like to know what aspects of japan you are interested in japan or enjoy etc .

At the last count, at least 179 living in the UK, but probably much more because of all the people who do not specify their country of residence in their profile. Then add all those living abroad, especially in Japan.

I also live in the East Midlands.

My interests in Japan? Music, learning the language, and starting to get into manga, too. And of course, learning about cultural stuff is always interesting.

Eee, I know Grantham a little. I took my driving theory test there. I'm from Leicester. I know there are at least 2 other members here from Leicester. Yay for the East Midlands!

I love Somerset! Whereabouts do you live? Glastonbury is my absolute favourite place. But I live in Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire.

The Cotswolds are nice. I went on a cycle camping tour there once. Very pretty scenery, but some mean little hills!

Not just rainy England, rainy Manchester. Sits in its own little hollow and has its own little micro climate, unfortunately wet. Maybe all you Mancs will grow gills to cope j/k

Right now i live in a little town called Wincanton, nothing special really, just a nice quiet little town with the usual assortment of pubs and shops.
Its kinda cool actually to bump into somone like you on this forum that is so local, what are your interests in japan? Have you been to japan yet ?
