How foreigner student can get schoralship to study in japan

Are you a student of Japanese? That may be the first step. You have not given us enough information.

Check into the MEXT scholarship and also JASSO as well for undergraduate scholarships, however, expect either high grades and high Japanese language skill. I don't think I've met anyone from Africa over here, and that is a real shame in my opinion.

If you do not try to find the information yourself and just wait for someone to feed you, I'm afraid that the chance for you to get scholarship is very small.

jasso or monbusho

Hi! I am a graduate student in one of partner institutions of Keio University and nominated as an exchange student. I can apply either as a research student or Japanese language student. Is it more risky to apply for research program since they say advisor and graduate school should both accept you. Whearas for language program there does not seem to be such additional criteria.
In addition, I can apply for eiter monbusho or jasso. Which one is more likely to get? (Jasso has 1800, monbusho has app 4000 spots but I did not meet personaly anyone who get monbusho) What do I need for getting a unviersity recomendation? I have not yet get into contact with any professor? Along with my starter Japanese (maybe jlpt 3) does this fact make both monbusho and my acceptance as research student less likely?

I really liek to go to Japan, but not contacted with any professor. So if it is more likey I will go for Jasso, cause I may not be able to go If I apply for monbusho and be rejected.
What do you advise me to do?

If your an American, I wonder if it's possible to study in Japan without taking admissions tests like the GRE or GMAT? Actually just out of curiosity if you're Japanese do you have to take a placement test at all to do a Master's degree program there? I have no idea what the requirements are.
I have a degree in physics and I'm planning on doing a Master's degree in the near future. Right now I'm studying to take a gre practice test which will hopefully get me into a good college. How does it work in Japan?

Of course, Japanese students have to pass the entrance exam for university/graduate schools.
In case of foreign students, some universities/schools offer special system (documents screening/oral exam).
